Habits help us to become good at teaching and leading, but they also stop us from getting better. They are a double-edged sword. This is why experience is not the same as expertise. Essentially, we’re only ever as good as our habits, and they can become a ceiling on our effectiveness. We’ll consider what we can do to 'break the habit ceiling' and share reflections of our collective working with teachers and leaders.
