Wondering about EVI and MFL? Worried that we have so many words to teach in languages and EVI might seem overwhelming as an approach? Well, worry no more! In this session, we will get to grips with explicit vocabulary teaching, its main concepts and ideas and ensure that MFL can also robustly and precisely teach vocabulary in a way which helps students remember and use it confidently in written and oral responses. We will unpick threshold words and look at tiered vocabulary. This will be a planning and discussion session also, so please do come prepared with your own ideas as well!
