About me
Hello. I hope you are all well.
My name is Pip Moore and I'm one of the Assistant Heads at County High in Bury St Edmunds.
Much of my spare time is spent training and competing in Triathlon to a reasonably high level, and I've represented Great Britain in age group events since 2014. This year, I have been fortunate enough to qualify again and will be competing in Portugal at the end of the month. This event is particularly special, as my eldest daughter has also qualified for the same event, so we will be going head to head. She will, undoubtedly, get the bragging rights and kick my backside from here to next week as she is currently ranked No1 in the country for her age group. She is just finishing her GCSEs at Sybil Andrews at the moment, but will be able to give the event her full attention once they are over.
I'm also a qualified Level 2 Triathlon coach, so I thought I would offer my services on Unity Day and run some coached swimming sessions. Many people love to swim but have never had feedback or coaching on their technique. These sessions are not aimed at turning you into an Olympic swimmer but a great opportunity to get that little bit better and enjoy the water more.
