This session will focus on understanding the difference between describing vulnerability and identifying risk. This will look at how language influences perception, response, and outcomes in referrals. The purpose is to be able to apply more precise, risk-focused language in referral writing. There will be a mix of presentation, discussion and group work in this session.
This open discussion invites technicians from across practical subjects to reflect on what helps—and hinders—efficiency in their roles. From time-saving setups to workload pressures and communication with teaching staff, we’ll share what’s working well and where support is still needed. The session aims to generate realistic, peer-informed strategies for increasing productivity while maintaining safety, quality, and job satisfaction.
