This session is designed to give educators the tools to build emotional literacy and resilience amongst their learners to support them through the local and global challenges of our time. It includes tools for managing eco-anxiety, information about the physical and mental health impacts of climate change and other global challenges on youth, and guidance for channelling student anxiety into action. Designed to foster resilience and engagement, it empowers teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
This session will focus on how we can incorporate movement into our lessons to engage learners, move the learning forwards, and energise students' bodies and brains. We will discuss how this can benefit all learners (including SEND students), look at the research that supports this, and share some easy ways to make movement part of your lesson routines.
