This practical session, open to the secondary science team, draws on the successful classroom use of iPads by Andrew H. We’ll explore how digital tools can support modelling, assessment, retrieval, and student engagement in science. With real examples and time to collaborate, the session is ideal for those looking to build confidence, pick up tried-and-tested strategies, and use iPads more purposefully to enhance teaching and learning.
I have been keen to develop my use of new technology in the classroom and have been using iPads as part of my lesson routines since September for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Whilst I have experience with lots of the features I am still keen to develop this further. As well as sharing my experiences (and frustrations), I hope this will be an opportunity for us to learn some new tips and tricks from each other as well.
